Open Control Planes Are a Trust Signal

When the software that decides what gets created, who pays for it, and what records exist is proprietary and invisible, you are trusting a black box with your budget, your compliance posture, and your reputation.
The LayerRail control plane is AGPL-3.0 and self-hostable. That decision was deliberate. It is the strongest possible statement that we are willing to be inspected at the deepest layer.
Teams that care about reproducibility, grant accountability, or regulated workloads increasingly realize that using a popular cloud is no longer sufficient evidence. Being able to point to an open, auditable control plane and to the passports it emits is becoming table stakes.
